Islamic Republics and Islamic Monarchies

The President of Gambia declared Gambia an Islamic Republic, making Gambia the second Islamic Republic of Africa after Mauritania. Iran and Pakistan are another two Islamic Republics. All Islamic Republics are different, and they are supposed to be somewhere between the very strict Islamic Caliphate and the secular state. But all Islamic Republics adopt some of the rules of the Islamic Law (Sharia).

Islamic Republics are different from Islamic Monarchies like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait etc, in that they do not have a king or monarch. But the truth is that both Islamic Republics and Islamic Monarchies are fascist forms of political organization, and they are as autocratic as communist and nazi regimes.
